Here you'll find a short summary o f our hotels and B&Bs.
The following description is just our opinion and maybe you would see from an other point of view.

May 13th Formula 1
Leuven, Belgien

Well, this hotel was the only one we could find and it was as cheap as the room (3 to 3 meter) was. But at least we slept one night ...
May 14th ...
Oxford, England

A very nice motel (we've seen a few nice motels in England), a little away from the motorway and very quiet.
If you don't like hamburger you could also have french food but it's not too cheap.
May 15th ...
Co. Wicklow

We had a very quiet night although it was lying near by the N11.
The funny thing was that all the rooms had no numbers but names of the surrounding villages.
May 16th - 19th Glenorny
Tramore
Co. Waterford
Glenorny House was the best B&B that we had in Ireland.
It's beautifully situated, high above the bay and you have a wonderful view over the sea.
A few meters across the street you find the golf course (like many others in Ireland). In about 10 walking minutes from the centre  of Tramore.
Mary Murphy, was very helpful all the time and is the soul of this nice B&B, where each guest is part of the family.
May 20th - 21st O'Regans's Country Home and Gardens
Killorglin
Co. Kerry
A nice B&B with an interesting garden - nearby Killorglin and very quiet situated approx. 500m from the main street. A walk of approx. 20 min. to Killorglin and approx. 30-40 minutes to the golf court with golf house. It looks nearer than it is.
Christina and Jerome of this B&B are very helpful - thanks for reservation of a bus tour.
May 22th - 23rd Rockmount House
Clifden (Sky Road)
Co. Galway
Dead-end road Sky Road
The Rockmount House is located really near the sky with a great view to the coast. Following the hints "Sky Road" in Clifden and the then you will also find a road sign "Rockmount House" approx. 5 kms. A faszinatiing single track dead-end road. After half of the way, you can choose either the upper part or the lower road, but the lower part is high enough and the upper road can only be recommended for bicycles or a walk.
For this road an Enduro is much more better than for a chopper or a big motor bike. The B&B is ok and we had for breakfast the best salmon of all B&B's.
May 24th - 25th Beleek Castle
Ballina
Co. Mayo
The castle itself takes you back to the 18th century - also the rooms (but very comfortable bath) and of course with four poster bed. Attention, if you meet a caretaker, it could be the Lord of this castle itself.
We have been deep impressed about the hospitality to motor bikers, which enters the imposing entrance hall wet and dirty.
And one has to stay in a castle, when visiting Ireland.
May 26th - 29th Woodhill House
Ardara
Co. Donegal
Our absolute favorite of all accommodation possibilities- the Woodhill House!
Located in a voluminous and wonderful garden bedded in a wood. The best place to relax and enjoy the country site in Ireland. Although, the centre of Ardara is a walk of approx. 5 minutes.
We received a warm welcome from Nancy, John and James and their grand son (approx. 1 1/2 years old) and also we felt integrated in the family live and received the best hospitality.
Only the midges reminded us painfully almost 3 weeks later of this wonderful garden..
May 30th - June 1st A Glasson Stone Lodge
Glasson (Glassan)
Co. Westmeath
This B&B is also nice, as well as the country site. But, unfortunately it is directly on the N55 with heavy traffic and this is not the best for a quiet sleep. Let's hope that in the near future the N55 will be moved to surround this nice little town.
Camel was also very helpful and her little son is very keen to learn new German words.
June 2nd ...
Chester, England

June 3rd Roadchef ???
Maidstone, England

June 4th ...
nearby Köln, Germany

June 5th Save home again!

When will we start for Ireland again ?
