Our way of biking
2014; Rebuild of my old Kawasaki F11
After 32 years disassembled into its components in the garage and buying spare
parts for a few years it was time to rebuild the Kawasaki F11, built in 1974, and
get it registered.
Here's the story what happend during rebuilding the bike.
2004 ???; Used Triumph Sprint ST
...
2000; No more Horse Power limit for Christine
A few days before we started our trip to ireland we removed the HP- limitation
from Christine's Virago. She's very happy to have some HP more on the long way
to ireland.
1998; A used Yamahe XT 350
It's terrible hows the salt working on the motor bike in the winter. It hurts
to see the Triumph. To avoid more damage I bought a used - bereits angerostete
- XT 350 for the wintertime.
1998; Christine made her drivers licence for motor bikes
Due to the fact that the winter in 1997 startet a couple of days to early she
made it early in the spring.
The Virago 535 is a nice bike but in the long run it's to small for me (my
poor back).
1996; New Trophy 1200 after a bad accident with the Trophy 900
I took the Trophy 1200 with a <Verkleidung> (just to try it). But I took
down the <Verkleidung> in the end (first the lower part, at least all).
On my trips through Austria and England we made friends and until now I had no
real problem with the Triumph
1996; My first new motor bike - Triumph Trophy 900
It was a long and difficult decision between a BMW F650 and a Triumph Trident,
but at last I baught a Triumph.
Originally I wanted to buy a Trident 750 but the dealer had no Trident
available and he offered me a Trophy 900 without the <Verkleidung>.
1995; A motor bike again at last - Honda CBX550 FII
After reading a well known paper for private advertisement I baught and
registered a Honda within three days.
1982 - 1995; No bike to ride, worse luck
The Kawasaki is disassembled because there are no spare parts to buy for.
That's why I can't get a registration.
1979; My first motor bike - dad's old Kawasaki F11
Enduro, 250ccm, 2-Stroke, 23.5PS
My first Puch- moped
First experience repairing 50ccm KTMs
